The Sound of Decades
My journey as a dj began when i was around 4 years old when i had my first small battery powered record player. I had a few 45s and loved playing them over and over again.
That was it i was hooked on music but it wouldnt be until the early nineties that i finally had the chance to be a dj. Armed with my home hifi and a couple of extra hifi speakers and a few borrowed lights i did my first family birthday bash at the local pub.
watching the dance floor fill as i played song after song was a buzz people enjoing themselves cheering more more wow what a feeling.
That was it i had to do this in a more proffesional way. so over the next twenty years i upgraded equipment and played at countless pubs and wedding venues around the east midlands form house parties to pool parties even in a cafateria playing background music for staff on lunch that was a strange one i must admit.
The one thing thou that joins all this together thou is reading a room and making sure the songs and the atmosphere you bring is all that matters
